Buying guide

Are robot vacuums with mops worth it?

They can be worth it, but mostly for the right kind of home. The real question is not whether mopping sounds attractive in theory, but whether it reduces your weekly cleaning workload enough to justify the extra cost and maintenance.

When the upgrade usually makes sense

When the extra spend may not be worth it

What matters more than the word “mop”

01

Floor mix

If hard floors dominate the home, mopping tends to add more day-to-day value.

02

Dock convenience

The better the pad cleaning and drying process, the more practical the feature becomes.

03

Expectation level

Mopping helps with regular upkeep; it does not remove the need for occasional deep cleaning.
